Decorative Birdbath

Description

A blue pottery birdbath, 31 × 29 cm across and 12.5 cm high, made as a decorative piece for gardens and terraces. The shallow bowl shape holds a little water, so in a dry Cyprus summer it may attract small birds to a quiet corner of the garden. The blue colour reads clearly against gravel, dry-stone walls or a bed of lavender and rosemary. Because it is low and compact, it can sit on the ground among plants, on a flat-topped wall or on a small pedestal. Pottery is fragile, so place it where it will not be knocked by chairs, hoses or pets. Refresh the water often in hot weather.
