Outdoor privacy screens in Cyprus

This category holds the Nardi Sipario modular partitions: modular resin screens that divide a cafe terrace from the pavement, hide a pool pump corner or give a balcony some privacy from the neighbours. There are two heights, both 70.5 cm wide and 35 cm deep, in four matte colours.

Two heights for two jobs

• Nardi Sipario 2: 141 cm tall, 14.6 kg. This height screens people sitting at a table while those standing can still see over it, so a restaurant patio keeps its view of the street or the sea.
• Nardi Sipario 3: 211 cm tall, 19.1 kg. It hides standing people and blocks the view from a neighbour's balcony or a service area.

Several panels side by side form a longer screen; the 70.5 cm width makes it easy to plan, for example five panels for about 3.5 m of terrace edge.

Why resin for a Cyprus terrace

Sipario is made of recyclable matte resin, so there is nothing to rust in salty coastal air, no wood to rot after winter rain and no paint to renew. The asymmetric wide grid lets the breeze pass, which matters in July and August when a solid wall traps heat and catches wind like a sail. Clean it with water and a soft brush.

Colours that match the furniture

The panels come in terra, gesso, basalto and cactus, the same palette as many Nardi pieces, so a screen can match Nardi furniture already on the terrace. Gesso (off-white) reads lightest on a sunny wall; basalto (dark grey) suits modern villas.

Ideas for placing screens

• Cafe or taverna: a row of Sipario 2 marks the seating area on a shared pavement.
• Pool: a Sipario 3 hides the shower or pump.
