Outdoor Dining

Outdoor dining furniture in Cyprus: tables, chairs and sets

This collection gathers everything for outdoor dining in one place: extendable tables, stackable chairs, armchairs and ready-made sets for villa terraces, garden pergolas and restaurant patios. Most pieces are aluminium or Nardi resin, with a few teak and solid wood tables for covered spaces.

Choosing the material

• Aluminium: light and rustproof, so it copes with coastal air. The Nardi Piave 160x90 table has a powder-coated round-section frame and a thin HPL top, and weighs 19 kg. Downside: metal frames get hot in the August sun.
• Fibreglass resin: coloured through, UV-treated and stackable. The Nardi Riva chair weighs 4.6 kg with a 46.5 cm seat. Downside: the matt surface needs a wash with mild soap after dusty summer winds.
• Teak and wood: a warm look and real weight. The Roma table has a solid teak top on stainless steel legs, 280 × 100 cm. Teak turns silver-grey unless oiled once or twice a year, and the supplier advises keeping the solid suar table out of direct sun, so it belongs under a roof.
• Ceramic: the wood-effect gres top of the Djerba extendable table resists heat and stains, at the cost of extra weight.

Sizing the table

Allow about 60 cm of table edge per person. The Nardi Alloro 140 extends from 140 to 210 cm, and the Nardi Rio Alu 210 goes from 210 to 280 cm for 8-10 people. For a round layout, the Camelot table opens from Ø150 to 204 cm. More in our dining table size guide.

Care in the Cyprus climate

Near the sea, wipe off salt and dust every few weeks. Store cushions dry during the winter rain and cover pieces marked for domestic use from November to March.

Compared with neighbouring collections
