Outdoor plant pots and garden planters in Cyprus
Outdoor plant pots in Cyprus for terraces, entrances and gardens: large outdoor planters for olive trees, ribbed bowls for herbs, cement and fiberclay pots that stay put on a windy terrace, and self-watering terracotta for houseplants. Sizes are listed on every product.
How to choose a flower pot
- Size: the pot should be a little wider than the root ball, with room to grow. Tall pots suit grasses and olive trees, low bowls suit herbs and succulents. The Quadratic fiberclay column is 35 x 120 cm, the Pyramid Ciotola bowl 52.5 x 52.5 x 37.5 cm.
- Drainage: check for a drainage hole; standing water damages roots in winter rain. The Peony set of 4 has a hole and cap at the bottom.
- Weight: cement and fiberclay are steadier on windy terraces; light pots are easier to move.
Materials we carry
- Fiberclay: clay reinforced with fibre, lightweight and all-weather, such as the Ribbed Bomb terracotta pot (Ø24 x 16 cm).
- Cement: textured finishes like the Birch cement pot, 40 cm.
- Terracotta: the TerraCotcha pot waters itself by capillary action.
- Ceramic, magnesia, resin and metal: decorative pieces such as the Magnesia Buddha pot for an entrance.
Pots for the Cyprus heat
In the Cyprus heat, bigger and thicker planters dry out more slowly. We carry large and decorative flower pots for olive trees and entrances as well as small pots for herbs; see sizes on each product. Group them by a lounge set or use tall pots beside partitions and screens as a green screen. More in our Mediterranean garden style guide.
