Bistro Tables
Small round and square tables for balconies and cafes.
Bistro tables are the small tables of a cafe terrace or a city balcony: round tops of 60-70 cm and squares of 70-80 cm, light enough to rearrange every morning. Most of them are Nardi resin models made for daily cafe service in the Cyprus sun.
Round or square
A round top such as the Nardi Combo 70 (Ø70 cm, 8.6 kg) has no corners to bump into on a tight balcony and seats two or three. Square tops line up: two Nardi Clip 80 tables pushed together make a 160 cm table for six, then split again for couples. The Cube 140 gives a longer 80 x 140 cm top.
What the tops are made of
Clip, Combo, Spritz and Step use fibreglass-reinforced polypropylene coloured right through, so a scratch does not reveal another colour and there is no paint layer for the sun to peel. Clip is specified for professional, contract use. Cube tables combine a DurelTOP resin top with coated aluminium legs and adjustable feet, which helps on uneven paving. The Nardi Step has a perforated top, so rain runs straight off.
One table, two heights
The Spritz and Step (Ø60.5 cm, 4.3 kg) come at 76.5 cm or 40 cm high, so the same model works for coffee at a chair or as a low side table by a lounger. Combo and Cube have optional High kits for a taller table next to bar stools.
Furnishing a cafe terrace
Plan roughly one 70 cm table per two seats and keep a 60 cm path for staff between rows. Pair the tables with stackable chairs, compare them with full-size dining tables, or see the cafe and restaurant furniture selection. Cafe owners can ask for a quote on the cafes page.
