Balcony furniture for Cyprus apartments

This collection is for small spaces: compact tables from 60 cm, armless bistro chairs, a 2 m balcony umbrella and solar lanterns. Every product lists its real size, so you can measure the balcony before you order.

Fitting a small balcony

Leave about 60 cm to walk past a table and pick chairs without armrests so they slide under it. A round 60 cm table seats two; a 70 × 70 cm square table fits two comfortably. For shade, a 2 m umbrella suits most balconies. More ideas in our small balcony guide.

Tables and chairs that fit

• Nardi Combo 60: round Ø60 cm top on a single column, 6.6 kg, with no corner legs to knock into.
• Nardi Spritz and Step: Ø60.5 cm, 4.3 kg, at 76.5 or 40 cm height; the Step top is perforated so rain runs off.
• Nardi Clip 70: a 70 × 70 cm square table made for contract use.
• Nardi Trill Bistrot is 52 cm wide and weighs 3.8 kg; the Net Bit chair at 3.5 kg is the lightest here. All the Nardi chairs stack, so two spare seats can wait in a corner.

Shade and light

The Pamela umbrella is 200 cm across, with a 35 mm stainless steel pole, fibreglass ribs, an air vent and a solution-dyed acrylic canopy. In the evening, the solar lantern charges by day with no wiring; the bamboo lantern is not water resistant, so keep it under cover.

Materials and care

Nardi resin is light, UV-treated, rustproof and wipes clean. The downside: a 3.5-4 kg chair can be lifted by a strong gust on an upper floor, so stack chairs or push them under the table when you go out, and close the umbrella in wind. Rinse off dust and salt every few weeks.

Sun loungers and privacy screens
