Nardi Net Chairs, Stools & Bench

Nardi Net outdoor furniture is a light, stackable range from the Italian maker Nardi, recognisable by the radial square perforations in every seat. In Cyprus we stock Nardi Net chairs, an armchair-style relax chair, a lounge chair, a two-seat bench, bar stools in two heights and two tables, with cushions sold separately.

Fiberglass resin: what it does well

• Pros: UV-treated, fibreglass-reinforced resin does not rust, peel or rot, and it is 100% recyclable. Perforations keep the seat cooler and drain rain instantly. Every chair stacks and stands on non-slip feet, and Nardi gives a 3-year guarantee.
• Cons: it is light: on an exposed roof terrace, stack them in strong wind. White and pale shades show sunscreen and red dust, so wipe them more often.

Sizes and weights

• The Net chair is 58.5 x 60.5 x 80 cm with arms, seat height 46.5 cm, 3.9 kg. The armless Net Bit chair is narrower at 55 x 52 cm and weighs 3.5 kg, good for tight cafe rows.
• The Net Relax chair, a low Nardi Net armchair (seat 41.5 cm), and the Net Lounge chair at 90 cm deep, are for slower afternoons.
• The Net Bench seats two at 116 cm wide and weighs 8.9 kg.
• The Net Stool has a 76 cm seat for bar counters; the Mini version sits at 65 cm for kitchen-height islands.

Cushions and colours

The Net cushions (cuscino Net in Nardi's catalogue) come in acrylic, olefin or water-repellent Sunbrella, all dirt-repellent and anti-fungal. Nardi names its shades in Italian, for example tortora (dove grey), salice (willow green), senape (mustard) and corallo (coral); the list differs by model, so check each product.
