Poolside & Beach
30Sunbeds, loungers and shade made for pool decks and beach clubs.
Poolside furniture in Cyprus has to cope with chlorine, salt, wet feet and July sun. This collection brings together pool sun loungers in resin, aluminium and wood, beach chairs, side tables, swing chairs and bean bags, for villa pools, apartment decks and hotel or beach club rows.
Pool sun loungers by material
- Resin: Nardi loungers such as the Atlantico (UV-resistant polypropylene, 16 kg, wheels, stackable) and the Eva Pro (reinforced resin with perforated textilene) do not rust and rinse clean. Cons: they are light in strong wind and white shows sunscreen.
- Aluminium and textilene: the Belfast (200 x 75 cm, black frame, anthracite fabric) dries in minutes and stays cooler than solid plastic. Powder-coated aluminium does not rust, but scratches near the sea should be touched up.
- Wood: the Texty sunbed has a solid acacia frame with an 8-position backrest. Wood is warm underfoot but needs oiling and shelter in winter.
- Upholstered: the Boa with 18 cm water-repellent cushions is the softest sun lounger for pool areas here, but the cushions should go inside when it rains.
Size and layout
Swimming pool sun loungers here run from 182 to 225 cm long. Allow about 1 m between loungers for a side table like the stackable Olimpia and a path for wet feet. For the beach, the Joy chair weighs about 2.7 kg with a seat 20 cm off the sand.
Care around chlorine and salt
Rinse frames and fabrics with fresh water after a pool day, especially near the coast. Wash off sunscreen with mild soap, keep cushions dry and store them for the winter rains. We do not currently list in-pool sun loungers for shallow ledges; all models here sit on the deck.
