17Nardi Maximo is a larger, deeper modular lounge range in polypropylene resin, offered in three finishes (standard, Lava and Perla): corner and middle modules, armrests, armchairs, poufs and a low coffee table.
Nardi Maximo outdoor furniture
Nardi Maximo is the deep, low lounge in the Nardi range: wide modules, thick cushions and a 45.5 cm seat for long evenings on a villa terrace or a hotel pool deck. It comes in three finishes, standard, Lava and Perla, so the sofa can match the stone and render of the house.
Planning the layout
- Maximo Elemento Angolo: corner module, 95 × 95 cm, 18.3 kg; it also works alone as a small corner seat.
- Maximo Elemento Centrale: armless middle module, 96 × 84.5 cm, 14 kg.
- Maximo Poltrona: armchair, 96 × 89.5 cm.
- Maximo Pouf: 84.5 cm square, at seat height.
- Maximo Bracciolo: an armrest to close the end of a run.
- Maximo Tavolino: 80 × 80 × 25.5 cm low table.
The ready Maximo 5 Sofa covers 182 × 341 cm and weighs 78.2 kg; it also comes in Lava and Perla.
Frame and cushions: pros and cons
The frame is regenerated fibreglass polypropylene with UV additives, fixed without screws and set on non-slip feet; it does not rust or rot. Cushions are Sunbrella acrylic with 8/8 light fastness and a PFAS-free water and stain repellent, with zip covers washable at 30 °C. The trade-off: 21 cm seat cushions take longer to dry after rain than thin pads, and a pale shade such as Perla stays cooler in full sun than a dark one.
Care in the Cyprus climate
Hose the frame down after dusty or salty weeks. After a shower, stand cushions on edge to dry, and bring them in for the winter rains.
Maximo, Komodo or Net?
Nardi Komodo uses narrower 72 cm modules and a higher 47.5 cm seat, better for smaller terraces and upright sitting. Nardi Net is lighter, with perforated lounge chairs. Browse all corner sofas or read the modular sofa guide.
