Outdoor Furniture Cyprus

Kipos is an outdoor furniture shop for Cyprus that covers the whole outdoor space in one order: dining, lounge, sunbeds, shade and the pots and lights around them. This page is the overview across every category, for a first balcony set, a villa terrace or a business that needs the full picture before choosing.

Plan the space by zones, not by single pieces

Most outdoor areas in Cyprus work as three or four zones. Start with how you will use the space through a long season, then pick a category for each zone:

• Eating: dining sets and dining tables with dining chairs. The Nardi Alloro 210 extendable table (100 x 210 cm, fiberglass resin) pairs with stackable chairs such as the Nardi Net chair at 3.9 kg.
• Relaxing: outdoor sofas and corner sofas. The Mojo 4-piece lounge set gives two armchairs, a 180 cm sofa and an 87 x 87 cm table.
• Sun: pool sunbeds, from stackable resin like the Nardi Tropico to cushioned aluminium.
• Shade: umbrellas and the right base, for example the Saturno side-pole umbrella, 315 x 295 cm with a rotating aluminium pole and cross base.
• Finish: plant pots, lighting and cushions and covers.

Match materials to the Cyprus climate

Across the range you will find aluminium, resin, rope, synthetic rattan, teak and acacia. As a rule of thumb, aluminium and resin cope best with summer heat and salt air near the sea, need no oiling and wipe clean. Teak and acacia are warmer to the touch and look natural, but need oil now and then to keep their colour. Natural wicker and cotton cushions belong under a pergola or covered veranda. Our materials guide and coastal furniture guide go deeper.

Choose by the type of space

• Apartment balcony: compact, light pieces from the balcony furniture collection.
• Garden or villa terrace: larger dining and lounge sets; see villa terrace dining.
• Pool area: sunbeds, side tables and shade from the poolside collection.
• Cafe, hotel or beach club: stackable, easy-clean ranges and volume pricing through Kipos for business.

Protect what you buy

Winter in Cyprus brings rain and wind rather than frost. A furniture cover (350 x 250 x 100 cm, polyester with PVC coating) keeps a lounge set clean between uses, and cushions last longer stored dry. The care guide lists what each material needs.
