Resin & Plastic Garden Furniture

This is our widest collection: plastic garden chairs, resin outdoor chairs, tables, sofas, partitions and every plastic sun lounger we sell, in moulded fiberglass or polypropylene resin. It suits balconies, villa gardens, rental apartments and busy cafe or hotel terraces that need furniture which can be hosed down.

Resin vs cheap plastic

The pieces here are heavier and stiffer than thin plastic chairs from a supermarket, and they are UV-treated, so they do not chalk or go brittle after a few Cyprus summers. Fiberglass-reinforced resin (most Nardi models) is the stiffest; plain polypropylene is lighter and costs less.

• Pros: no rust, no paint, no oiling; rinse clean with water; many models stack.
• Cons: light pieces can shift in strong wind on a high balcony; white shows sunscreen and red dust; a hard seat gets warm in full sun unless it is perforated or cushioned.

From a single chair to a full terrace

• Budget seating: the white polypropylene Air armchair (57 x 60 x 81 cm) and Ibiza armchair are for home and professional dining.
• Tables: the Alloro 140 table extends from 140 to 210 cm, with aluminium legs and a 3-year Nardi guarantee.
• Lounge: the Komodo 5 sofa is 294 cm wide, a modular resin sofa that can stay outside all year.
• Privacy: the Sipario 2 partition is 141 cm high and modular.

Resin sun loungers

The Tropico sunlounger is a moulded plastic sun lounger in mass-coloured polypropylene, 14.5 kg, with wheels, and it stacks. For breathable fabric over a resin frame, see the Nardi Alfa and Atlantico.

Care in the Cyprus climate

Wash with water and mild soap; no solvents, bleach or scouring pads. Rinse after salt spray. In winter, store cushions dry; the resin itself can stay out.

Compare materials

Resin is lighter and easier than teak and needs less care than rope and rattan. Read our materials guide, the Net vs Doga comparison, or see stackable outdoor chairs.
